Unmodified Biblical Hebrew Names

In Judaism, the sacred name is not "uttered" due to traditions. We do not follow these but rather exalt the Father's name and that of His Mashiach (Messiah). Please spend time learning about the nomina sacra in your earliest Greek Bible and why we teach that the early Chrestians (so called) also used the name Yahweh (Acts 2:21, quoting Joel 2:32) and also why the Messiah's name, Yahwshua (יַהְוְשֻׁעַ), was a vital part of the Good News preached to those seeking to enter the strange New Covenant (Psalm 91:14–15, Isa. 42:8). Father's and Son's Nature

A phenomenal development in our religious history was the council at Nicea in 325 where we find the marvelous statement "ὁμοούσιον τῷ Πατρί . . . (of one substance with the Father)," notably absent from the NT. Biblically, the plural Hebrew term Elohim does not reflect anything close to the above. The preexistence of the Son only uploads His powerful role as the Word made flesh. His exaltation in no way diminishes from His own Father but contrariwise is a lesson for us (1 Cor. 15:28), showing His unique accomplishment (Phil. 2:9). Circumcision, Sacrifice and the New Covenant

Both Passover animal sacrifice and circumcision (1 Cor. 5:7, Gal. 5:2–3, 1 Cor. 7:19) are fleshly (bloody) remnants of the old covenant (Heb 7:18, Heb. 9:10). Most people today do not understand what Paul meant when saying no flesh is justified through works of the Law in the context of the old Covenant. But applying the covenant principle of "cutting a covenant" with a victim is critical. Both Paul in Romans and the book of Hebrews explain how justification (making one righteous again after mistakes made against the covenant commandments) is through faith in the blood of Mashiach in the New Covenant. Passover: Abib 14

Not everyone readily realizes that the Mashiach's death occurred on Passover day (Abib 14, day part), but that the Jews (in Jerusalem) were getting ready for their High Day of Abib 15 (First High Day of Unleavened Bread) joined with Passover day at some later time as you could readily see from comparing Exod. 12:22, 29, 42 and Num. 33.3). From here, it is clear that the original Passover was Abib 14. See the Tenets on the Holy Days observed.
